KK Security, a Leader in Defending the Human Rights of Their Staff

KK Security, a GardaWorld company has emerged as one of two of the best security firms in Kenya for promoting and defending human rights as part of their business practices.

An audit by the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNHCR) found that KK Security fully complies with its obligations under the labour law and has made a significant contribution in ensuring the welfare of its employees is safeguarded.

KNCHR CEO Patricia Nyaundi said “the Kenya Private Security Regulatory Authority should work to weed out firms that break labour laws”. KK Security was audited on between 6th and 10th February 2017, and the audit included reviewing compliance with legal minimum wage requirements, training records, leave records, medical treatment records and evidence that KK Security is an equal opportunity employer.

The review was carried out at the KK Security branch in Kisumu.
